About The Position

The Department of Statistics in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Florida invites applications for a full-time (1.0 FTE), 9-month, non-tenure-accruing Lecturer position beginning August 16, 2027. This is a renewable academic-year appointment. The successful candidate will primarily teach advanced undergraduate statistics courses for Statistics majors and advanced undergraduate courses for Data Science majors offered by the Department of Statistics. Experience or interest in online instruction is desirable. The department is home to thriving undergraduate programs in both Statistics and Data Science and is committed to excellence in teaching and student success. To support professional growth and long-term career development, lecturers are eligible for promotion through the ranks of Lecturer, Senior Lecturer, and Master Lecturer. Requirements

PhD. in Statistics, Biostatistics, or closely related field.
