About The Position

The Department of Criminal Justice at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University seeks a full-time non-tenure track lecturer, to teach in-person and online courses. This person teaches four courses per semester. Classes will be assigned as needed by the Department Chair. Additional duties include, but are not limited to, student groups and academic advising and career mentoring, serving on departmental/college and university committees (i.e., representing the department at New Student Orientations). This is a full-time, 9-month Lecturer / Teaching Assistant Professor. The faculty rank will be based on the selected candidate’s credentials and education.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with professional experience in the discipline for an appointment as a Lecturer.
  • PhD with professional experience in the discipline for an appointment at the rank of Teaching Assistant Professor.

Nice To Haves

  • At least five years of teaching and professional experience is preferred with proven skills in the discipline.
