About The Position

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology at Ithaca College is seeking part-time lecturers for the academic year 2026-2027. Potential openings exist for teaching in their online M.S. in SLP program. Opportunities for on-campus clinical supervision of graduate students may also be available. The department has a long-standing tradition, celebrating its 100th anniversary, and offers an accredited master's degree in speech-language pathology, with both residential and fully online modalities. Ithaca College is recognized for its hands-on preprofessional education and offers a range of liberal arts and professional degrees through its School of Health Sciences and Human Performance.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology OR audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (for clinical supervision roles).
  • New York State licensure in speech-language pathology or audiology (for clinical supervision roles).
  • 2 hours continuing education in clinical supervision (for clinical supervision roles).

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate preferred for academic teaching positions.
  • Previous post-secondary teaching experience.

Responsibilities

  • Teaching in the online M.S. in SLP program.
  • Providing clinical supervision of graduate students (on-campus opportunities may be available).
