About The Position

The Department of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology at Ithaca College invites applications for part-time lecturer positions for the academic year 2026-2027. We anticipate potential openings for teaching in our online M.S. in SLP. On-campus opportunities for clinical supervision of graduate students may be available. The Department of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology at Ithaca College recently celebrated its 100th anniversary. The master’s degree in speech-language pathology is accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. The department offers a tradition residential M.S. in SLP as well as a fully online modality master’s degree option. Ithaca College is consistently ranked among the best in the Northeast, and is noted for hands-on preprofessional education, offering both liberal arts and professional degrees. The School of Health Sciences and Human Performance offers graduate degrees in a range of health-related fields, including occupational and physical therapy, physician assistant, and athletic training.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathology OR audiology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (for clinical supervision roles).
  • New York State licensure in speech-language pathology or audiology (for clinical supervision roles).
  • 2 hours continuing education in clinical supervision (for clinical supervision roles).

Nice To Haves

  • Doctorate preferred for academic teaching positions.
  • Previous post-secondary teaching experience desirable.
