About The Position

The Modern Language Studies Department at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach SPAN 101: Beginning Spanish I. This course is an introduction to the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking cultures, with emphasis on the development of communicative skills and grammatical structures. Language laboratory practice is a mandatory component of the course. Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Spanish
  • Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.
