About The Position

The Department of Psychological Sciences at the University of San Diego is seeking a part-time Lecturer to teach PSYC-101 in Fall 2026. This position is part of the Non-tenure Track Bargaining Unit and will be a member of the SEIU Local 721 bargaining unit, subject to the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. This is a temporary, non-benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of December 31, 2026, renewable at the discretion of the University based on performance and funding. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology or a closely related field completed by the time of appointment.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching at the university level.
  • Evidence of effective teaching.
  • Ability to teach courses in person.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
  • Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes.

Responsibilities
