The Mathematics Lecturer position is a non-tenure-track faculty position with an initial one-semester appointment beginning in January 2027, with the possibility of one-year (9-month contract year) renewals in subsequent years. The successful candidate will teach a broad range of mathematics courses from developmental mathematics through the calculus sequence, as assigned. This position requires the effective teaching and advising of diverse students, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a commitment to the comprehensive state college mission. The lecturer will prepare course plans and materials, effectively deliver course content, monitor student attendance and progress, support activities that foster retention, assess student learning outcomes, and take part in other service and professional development activities as appropriate. Multiple modes of instruction are possible. This position is an on-site position. Reports to the Department Head, Mathematics and Computer Science.
