Lecturer - KINE 181 and 181L: Human Anatomy and Physiology (Fall 2026)
About The Position
The Department of Kinesiology at California State University San Marcos seeks a part-time lecturer for Fall 2026 to teach KINE 181 and 181L: Human Anatomy and Physiology. This course investigates the structure and function of the human body, introducing conceptual frameworks that explain anatomical structures and model physiological processes. It covers topics such as energy transformation, gradients and flow, mechanical and evolutionary constraints, and control principles, following energy flow into the body (digestion, circulation, respiration, metabolism). The course also introduces methods for evaluating variability, pathology, and performance. The position involves three hours of lecture and three hours of laboratory work.
Requirements
- A master’s degree in the area of instruction or a closely related field.
- Working in the State of California is a condition of employment.
- Must comply with the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act as a condition of employment.
- Must complete background check, including criminal records check.
