About The Position

The Department of Theatre Arts at the University of Miami is accepting applications for a full-time lecturer position with a teaching specialization in Stage Management for the spring 2027 semester, January 1, 2027 – May 15, 2027, with the possibility of renewal. Responsibilities include instruction of stage management and other theatre courses, mentorship of stage management students, and supervision of stage management students in practica. Additionally, stage management and/or production management duties may be assigned. Other responsibilities for full-time Theatre Arts lecturers include participation in department and program meetings, mentoring of undergraduate students, student recruitment, and curricular development.

Requirements

• MFA degree in Theatre
• Professional stage management experience
