About The Position

Cornell College is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Mathematics to teach one course during a four-week session. The course, MAT 236 - Differential Equations, will be taught full-time during Block 6 (2/08/27 - 3/03/27). This course covers mathematical modeling with differential equations, initial value problems, systems of differential equations, qualitative solutions, stability analysis, an introduction to chaos, and Laplace transforms. Requirements

• At least a master’s degree in mathematics or a closely related field.
• Ability to teach MAT 236 - Differential Equations, covering topics such as mathematical modeling, initial value problems, systems of differential equations, qualitative solutions, stability analysis, chaos, and Laplace transforms.
• Willingness to teach during the four-week session (2/08/27 - 3/03/27).
