About The Position

The University of Nevada, Reno Orvis School of Nursing invites applicants to apply for 9-month or 12-month non-tenure track position/s or tenure track position/s. This posting is for future openings for all specialties. Once positions become available, applications will be reviewed. Positions Include: -Lecturer II -Assistant Professor, non-tenure track / tenure track -Associate Professor, non-tenure track / tenure track Responsibilities include teaching successfully in undergraduate and/or graduate programs according to educational preparation, expertise, and school needs. The successful candidate will support the mission, philosophy, and objectives of the Orvis School of Nursing and the University of Nevada, Reno.

Requirements

  • Lecturer II – Master’s in Nursing or a BSN with a related field Master’s.
  • Assistant Professor (non-tenure track or tenure track ) – Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing and doctoral degree (DNP, PhD, or DNSc) in nursing or related field.
  • Associate Professor (non-tenure track or tenure track) - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing and doctoral degree (DNP, PhD, or DNSc) in nursing or related field.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada or eligible for licensure in Nevada.
