About The Position

Lecturer applicant pool for Academic Year 2026 - 2027. Positions are part-time, temporary, non-tenure, and contingent upon course offerings, sufficient student enrollment, position clearance and availability of funding. Must be available to teach courses during the day, evening, weekend, and/or via distance learning, as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Geology or related field.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness.

Nice To Haves

• Doctoral degree in Geology or related field.
• Demonstrated high-quality instruction and teaching effectiveness at the college level.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned courses in Geology.
• Prepare course syllabi and reports related to teaching and student progress.
• Maintain a minimum of 2 office hours per week for each course taught up to 5 office hours per week.
