About The Position

The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Toledo seeks a Lecturer - Data Science to start in Spring 2027. This non-tenure-eligible faculty position is annually renewable based on job performance.

Primary teaching responsibilities include online courses in the University of Toledo’s Master of Science in Data Science and AI program. Topics include mathematical, statistical, and computing foundations of data science, cloud-based computing, databases, and AI. Applications will be reviewed beginning November 15, 2026, and continue until the position is filled.

Applicants must submit a letter of application addressing their professional and teaching experience, a current curriculum vitae, a statement of teaching philosophy, and names and contact information for three references. Requirements

• Earned doctoral degree in a closely related field.
• Relevant teaching experience.
