The School of Communication and Journalism at Auburn University seeks candidates for a Lecturer position in Communication beginning Fall semester, Aug. 16, 2027. This is a teaching-intensive position in the undergraduate Communication program. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate is to teach a range of in-person, on-campus sophomore and junior-level communication courses (such as Small Group Communication, Communication in Society, Intercultural Communication, Foundations of Human Communication, Conflict Communication, Research in Human Communication) as well as some senior-level courses (such as Social Movements, Leadership, Communication and Cognition), during the Fall and Spring semesters. Supplemental support for summer instruction may be possible depending on need and availability of funding. Candidates should indicate in their cover letters the courses they are qualified to teach.
