This is a part-time, temporary position for the Fall 2026 semester, serving as part of a lecturer candidate pool. The role is non-tenurial, with assignments made as needed, contingent upon funding, satisfactory performance, and actual staffing requirements. The lecturer will teach assigned courses in American Sign Language (ASL), maintain office hours, provide instruction to meet student learning objectives, prepare course materials, and work collaboratively with the discipline coordinator and division chairperson. The position requires commitment to community college principles and philosophy and may involve teaching evening and weekend classes, on-campus, off-campus at military bases, secondary education sites (high schools), and/or distance learning assignments via the internet. This is not a remote position. Security clearance may be required for teaching on military bases, and background checks for Early College courses.
