About The Position

Sul Ross State University is seeking a Lecturer/Assistant/Associate Professor of AgriBusiness. This position involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in agri-business, advising student clubs, participating in departmental events, engaging in faculty governance and service activities, and pursuing scholarly activities. Responsibilities

  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in agri-business, potentially including Ag Economics, Ag Marketing, Farm & Ranch Records, and Natural Resource Economics.
  • Teach graduate-level courses based on departmental needs, individual interests, educational background, and skill level.
  • Serve as an advisor for student clubs.
  • Participate in and help conduct departmental sponsored events.
  • Participate in faculty governance and service activities at the departmental, college, and university levels.
  • Engage in scholarly activity, broadly defined to include the scholarship of teaching, research, or similar activities.
  • Be responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.
