About The Position

Vetio Animal Health is a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) dedicated to animal health; we integrate product development with full-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing through a Quality-by-Design process. Our mission is to develop and manufacture products that improve the lives of animals, while ensuring the safety, quality and compliance of all our products to the highest of industry standards. We are seeking an experienced Electromechanic to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems in our sterile pharmaceutical production facility. You will ensure equipment reliability and uptime while working within strict GMP and cleanroom protocols.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or degree in electromechanics, industrial maintenance, or related field
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or similarly regulated manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems (up to 400V)
  • Familiarity with GMP requirements and cleanroom operations (Grade A–D)
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use diagnostic tools
  • Experience with aseptic filling lines, tube fillers RABS
  • Experience with automated cleaning (CIP, parts washer, autoclave)
  • Experience with clean utilities (PSG, WFI, VHP)
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance

Responsibilities

  • Preventive & corrective maintenance on production equipment (filling lines, autoclaves, HVAC, WFI systems, etc.)
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical faults
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical documentation
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and automated control systems
  • Calibrate instruments and sensors per schedule
  • Schedule preventive maintenance and calibration of sterilizers, autoclaves, washers, HVAC and other electromechanical devices
  • Generate reports, KPIs and alerts for downtime or overdue tasks
  • Document all interventions in CMMS and complete maintenance records in compliance with GMP
  • Support qualifications and validations (IQ, OQ, PQ) when required
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) and reduce downtime
  • Follow cleanroom gowning procedures and maintain aseptic discipline in classified areas
