About The Position

Michels Corporation is seeking a Leave Partner to oversee and administer all employee leave programs. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local leave laws while providing a consistent, compliant, and employee-centered leave experience. The Leave Partner will act as the subject matter expert for leave of absence programs and collaborate closely with HR, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and leadership to support employees through complex leave situations. A key aspect of this role is embodying the corporate culture, demonstrating professionalism, and delivering excellent customer service.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, preference to HR.
3-5 years of progressive HR experience with significant focus on leave of absence administration.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills.
Must present a professional, positive image at all times.
Strong working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, USERRA, and state and local leave laws.
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by the Michels Review Team.

Nice To Haves

PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP Certification.
Experience in a multi-state or complex leave environment.
