Requirements

  • Previous leasing or sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Team-oriented.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to build rapport.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (Yardi, Knock, OneSite).
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to fluently read and write English.
  • Ability to accurately perform intermediate mathematical functions and use on-site resident management software.
  • Ability to work any day of the week, 52 weeks a year, including overtime if necessary.
  • Ability to serve on-call as scheduled or necessary.
  • Ability to travel for company gatherings.
  • A valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance are required.
  • Must have own vehicle to fulfill job functions.
  • Superior sales skills.
  • Leadership skills and coaching ability.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret information.
  • Demonstrate tact and diplomacy.
  • Basic computer and Internet knowledge.
  • Expanded knowledge of Internet marketing.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel; proficiency with Outlook.
  • Ability to operate and understand personal computer functions and company-utilized software packages.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and career growth.
  • Must wear career apparel based on defined company standards.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and tour guests, understanding their needs and showcasing the community's features.
  • Manage the leasing process, including preparing paperwork, conducting checks, and ensuring a smooth move-in experience.
  • Develop and implement local and digital marketing strategies across social media, events, and promotions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests, addressing concerns and maintenance requests promptly.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to prospects via phone, email, and networking to generate leads and schedule tours.
  • Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts by building relationships and offering personalized service.
  • Perform administrative duties such as reporting, maintaining files, updating databases, and processing payments.
