About The Position

Leasing Specialist for a Luxury Lease-Up Community. This is a career-defining opportunity to drive leasing efforts in a flagship lease-up community. Dream Marine Creek is seeking an experienced and energetic leasing specialist to help complete the lease-up of this new rental community situated in a historic Bethlehem landmark. The Leasing Specialist plays a critical role in the success of our community by helping to ensure we offer a WOW customer experience to the residents and prospective renters. The leasing specialist leads tours of the community and apartments, actively selling our high-quality rental homes, following-up on leads and assisting in driving increased occupancy. This is a forward-facing role that will interact with both residents and guests. The right candidate will be a motivated and outgoing professional with a proven track record in leasing, sales or other related field.

Requirements

  • Customer Service Experience is a must
  • Proven ability to drive positive results while representing and promoting core values
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid analytical skills and working with income statements and financial statements
  • Proven examples of change leadership and responsibility for on-site project management
  • A sense of empowerment, accountability, and success at achieving goals, driving performance, and developing team members
  • Active drivers license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Lease-Up Experience a big plus
  • Experience with Appfolio, G Suite, and Microsoft Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and manage inbound traffic, answer all leads within 4 hours, generate interest, manage the lead-to-lease process, and maximize occupancy and revenue potential at all assigned communities.
  • Prospecting DLP leads weekly and cross-promoting with area businesses for networking opportunities.
  • Create relationships with major employers, local businesses, universities/colleges, hospitals, and other opportunities to cross-promote the community and its offerings.
  • Perform demonstrations by following the Standards of Excellence.
  • Successfully and aggressively turn leasing tours into applications and subsequent move-ins, assisting all prospects in applying for apartment homes using proven closing techniques and the online tools available through DLP.
  • Create and facilitate resident programs to enhance the experience of living in the community, including the creation of productive relationships with active & past residents to ensure repeat & referral business and participate in new initiatives implemented for enhanced leasing.
  • Be visible to residents in the community. Walk and inspect the community grounds, hallways, and amenity areas going up and down stairs to ensure the community remains clean, with all amenities operable and in good working condition at all times.
  • Manage CRM accuracy to include guest card conversations, follow-up details, accurate and timely lease paperwork, and completed files.
  • Consistent communication with the Community Manager, DLP Leadership, and community teammates.
  • Maintain goals, expectations, and time management structure.
  • Attend & participate in all required DLP meetings and training.
