Requirements

  • 2+ years of apartment leasing experience preferred.
  • Experience with affordable housing programs (LIHTC, HUD-Section 8, HOME, RD) strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Fair Housing and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Yardi or similar property management software.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Basic math and data-entry abilities for rent collection and recordkeeping.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Work schedules may include Saturdays, based on property performance needs such as occupancy levels, leasing activity, and rent collections.
  • When required, weekend coverage will be scheduled on a rotating basis and aligned with business priorities.
  • Work schedules are subject to change based on business needs and property performance.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus.
  • COS or TCS certification desired or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

  • Greet prospective residents, conduct tours, and highlight the features that make Conifer communities special.
  • Market available units, respond to inquiries, and manage leasing applications and renewals.
  • Process applications and recertifications accurately under LIHTC, HUD, or other affordable housing programs.
  • Assist residents with rent collection, service requests, and community communications.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and office staff to maintain high standards for property appearance and safety.
  • Manage reports, filing, and data entry to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Support leasing efforts, resident engagement, and rent collection activities during scheduled weekend hours.
