About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Leasing Professional to join our team. This role is responsible for leasing residential or commercial properties, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting occupancy and revenue goals. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with sales instincts, attention to detail, and the ability to build relationships with prospective and current tenants.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to close deals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio, or similar)
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work weekends is required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 1–3 years of leasing, sales, or customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of fair housing laws and leasing practices is a plus
  • Working knowledge of RealPage/OneSite is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage prospective tenants, providing property tours and detailed information on available units
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms
  • Manage the full leasing cycle, including applications, screenings, and lease execution
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property availability, pricing, and market conditions
  • Achieve and exceed leasing and occupancy targets
  • Prepare and maintain leasing reports, traffic logs, and prospect follow-ups
  • Coordinate with property management, maintenance, and marketing teams to ensure readiness of units
  • Assist with resident retention efforts, including renewals and customer satisfaction initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, lease terms, and fair housing regulations
  • Conduct outreach marketing and participate in local events/sponsorships and expo’s
