Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED
• Customer service or sales background required
• Professional appearance, with attire suitable for an office environment
• Problem-solving skills, positive attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting
• Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to compose clear and professional correspondence
• Ability to walk properties frequently, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds
• Availability to work Saturdays

Nice To Haves

• Leasing experience preferred
• Bilingual a plus, but not required
• Experience with Entrata software is a plus
• Experience with social media platforms, particularly Facebook and Instagram

Responsibilities

• Completing lease agreements and collecting rental deposits
• Ensuring model apartments are ready for tours
• Maintaining accurate resident and property files
• Knowledge of lease terms, policies, rental rates, apartment sizes, locations, and property amenities
• Utilizing phone and leasing techniques effectively
• Understanding and following the leasing application process and screening procedures
• Maintaining a professional appearance and attitude at all times
• Conducting regular property inspections to ensure all vacant apartments are ready for showings
• Developing and maintaining relationships with local businesses for marketing purposes
• Responding promptly and courteously to resident requests or concerns
• Operating in compliance with OSHA, EPA standards, and Fair Housing regulations
