About The Position

Jefferson Apartment Group is seeking a Part-Time Leasing Professional for their multifamily apartment community, Jefferson Somerset Park. This community features 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments, as well as two-level loft apartments. The property is conveniently located near major roadways and is a recipient of the Best of 2024 Business Rate Apartment Community award. The primary role of the Leasing Professional is to lease apartments and create a positive first impression for JAG Management Company.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Must be able to work on Saturdays and Mondays (10am-6pm).

Nice To Haves

• Additional vocational training or four-year college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leases and markets vacant and upcoming apartments.
• Completes all leasing paperwork.
• Compiles and processes applications for approval.
• Explains lease and all appropriate addenda to new resident.
• Walks apartments and reports all necessary improvements.
• Assists with resident relations.
• Keys in all fees, deposits, and new lease information.
• Shows apartments to prospective leases.
• Walks models and shows units daily.
• Assists with marketing.
• Post ads on Craigslist and various other websites.
• Accepts and completes Notice to Vacate forms.
• Accepts rental payments.
• Performs additional duties as requested.
