About The Position

Kairoi Residential is seeking a Leasing Professional to join their team. This role is a dynamic mix of sales, onsite future resident management, marketing, customer service, and relationship building. The Leasing Professional will be the first impression and interaction that future residents experience, making a lasting and welcoming first impression through phone calls, emails, video chats, and in-person leasing tours. An attitude of hospitality and enthusiasm are integral to this role as you provide information, schedule visits, give tours, and determine resident eligibility. This role requires delivering remarkable service and enhancing the resident experience. As a sales position, the Leasing Professional will work quickly to close leases to meet acceptable closing ratios while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service. They will seek to understand current and future resident needs, provide solutions, overcome objections, and build relationships. This involves accurately explaining all features of the community, including amenities, apartment availability, rent and pricing information, lease agreements, and policies. The role includes following up with future and new residents to ensure satisfaction, completing all lease-related paperwork with confidentiality and professionalism, and collecting security deposits, rent, and other move-in funds. The Leasing Professional will also support marketing efforts, offer input on promotions and advertisements, gather market and competitor information, and prepare competitive survey reports. Regular inspections of the community, tour path, vacant and model units are also part of the role to ensure a remarkable impression. Understanding and complying with Fair Housing Laws and practices is essential. Communication is key, and the Leasing Professional will maintain open and effective communication with team members and leaders. They will be a key player in creating resident events, fostering relationships, and finding innovative ways to elevate the resident living experience. This role involves understanding resident needs and responding promptly and professionally, taking ownership and elevating resident concerns when necessary. Building relationships with local businesses for outreach marketing efforts is also a responsibility. This role directly interacts with future and existing residents.

Requirements

  • Strong sales and customer service experience.
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Google and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Excellent follow-up skills via email and phone.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure regular inspections of the community, tour path, vacant and model units.
  • Understand and comply with Fair Housing Laws and practices.
