About The Position

Kairoi Residential creates exceptional living experiences at high-performing multifamily communities. The Leasing Professional role is a dynamic mix of sales, onsite future resident management, marketing, customer service, and relationship building. This role is the first impression and interaction that future residents experience, making a lasting and welcoming first impression through phone calls, emails, video chats, and in-person leasing tours. An attitude of hospitality and enthusiasm are integral to this role as you provide information, schedule visits, give tours, and determine resident eligibility. This position requires delivering remarkable service and enhancing the resident experience. As an "At-Home Expert," you will work quickly to close leases to meet acceptable closing ratios while maintaining professionalism and excellent customer service. You will seek to understand resident needs, provide solutions, overcome objections, and build relationships. This includes accurately explaining community features, amenities, availability, rent and pricing, lease agreements, and policies. You will follow up with future and new residents to ensure satisfaction, complete lease-related paperwork, and collect associated funds. You will also support marketing efforts, gather market information, and prepare competitive survey reports. Regular inspections of the community, tour path, and units are necessary to ensure a remarkable impression. Understanding and complying with Fair Housing Laws is essential. As a "Relationship Builder," you will maintain open communication with team members and leaders, assist in creating resident events, foster relationships, and find innovative ways to elevate the resident living experience. You will act as a servant-leader, understanding and responding to resident needs promptly and professionally, and escalating concerns when necessary. Building relationships with local businesses for outreach marketing is also part of the role.

Requirements

  • Strong sales and customer service experience.
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Google and Microsoft Office Suites.
  • Excellent follow-up skills via email and phone.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in leasing, sales, or hospitality.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the last 12 months.
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is an added plus but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sales process from start to finish.
  • Be the first impression and interaction for future residents through phone calls, emails, video chats, and in-person tours.
  • Provide information, schedule visits, give tours, and determine resident eligibility.
  • Close leases to meet acceptable closing ratios.
  • Maintain professionalism and excellent customer service in all interactions.
  • Seek to understand current and future resident needs, provide solutions, overcome objections, and build relationships.
  • Accurately explain all features of the community including amenities, apartment availability, rent and pricing information, lease agreements, policies, and more.
  • Follow-up with future and new residents to ensure satisfaction.
  • Complete all lease-related paperwork for new residents and renewals with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Collect security deposits, rent, and all other funds associated with resident move-ins.
  • Support overall marketing efforts and offer input and suggestions regarding promotions, advertisements, etc.
  • Gather information about markets, competition, etc., and prepare competitive survey reports.
  • Ensure regular inspections of the community, tour path, vacant and model units.
  • Understand and comply with Fair Housing Laws and practices.
  • Maintain open and effective communication with team members and leaders.
  • Be a key player in creating resident events, fostering relationships, and thinking of outside-of-the-box ways to elevate their living experience.
  • Understand resident's needs and responding to those needs promptly and professionally.
  • Take ownership and elevate resident concerns, if necessary, to the appropriate people.
  • Help build relationships with local businesses to attract future residents through outreach marketing efforts.
