Additionally, the Leasing Professional assists with lease renewals, monitors advertising effectiveness, and gathers market competition information. Administrative duties include accepting rental payments, accurately inputting data into the software system, maintaining resident files, and assisting the management team with various tasks. The role also focuses on resident retention by addressing requests and concerns, ensuring maintenance issues are resolved, and contributing to community appeal. Neighborhood marketing activities, such as outreach and distributing promotional materials, are also part of the responsibilities. Essential functions include Fair Housing certification, strong communication skills, proficiency with office equipment and software, a positive attitude, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. A minimum of two years of relevant customer service experience is required, along with a professional appearance and the ability to handle customer concerns effectively. Successful completion of a drug and background screening is mandatory.
