About The Position

The Leasing Professional Part-time at Series at Riverview Landing plays a critical role in driving occupancy and revenue growth by effectively marketing and leasing residential properties. This position requires building strong relationships with prospective and current residents to ensure a positive leasing experience and foster community retention. The Leasing Professional will manage inquiries, conduct property tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and company policies. Additionally, this role involves collaborating with the property management team to support operational goals and contribute to a welcoming community environment. Success in this role directly impacts the property's reputation and financial performance by attracting and retaining quality residents.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in leasing, sales, or customer service, preferably within the real estate or property management industry.
• Basic knowledge of leasing laws and fair housing regulations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• The Leasing Professional utilizes strong communication and interpersonal skills daily to engage with prospective residents and build rapport, ensuring a positive leasing experience.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for managing applications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with leasing policies and regulations.
• Sales and marketing skills are applied to effectively present the property’s features and benefits, helping to convert inquiries into signed leases.
• Proficiency with property management software streamlines administrative tasks and tracking of leasing activities.
• Additionally, problem-solving and customer service skills are critical for addressing resident concerns and supporting community retention efforts.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s degree or higher in business, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience with property management software such as Yardi, RealPage, or similar platforms.
• Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish and English, to better serve a diverse resident base.
• Certification as a Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) or similar credential.
• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding leasing goals in a multi-family residential environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage prospective residents, providing detailed information about available units, community amenities, and leasing terms.
• Conduct property tours and highlight key features to showcase the value of the community.
• Process rental applications, verify applicant information, and ensure compliance with leasing policies and fair housing regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of leasing activity, resident interactions, and follow-up communications using property management software.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement marketing strategies to increase occupancy and resident satisfaction.
