Our leasing team is seeking a Leasing Manager for a highly collaborative role. You will work closely with the Vice President of Leasing and play a central role in managing the full cycle of leasing files, including new tenants and renewals. The Leasing Manager is responsible for a portfolio of office, industrial, and retail properties located primarily in Montreal, as well as in Québec City and Ottawa. This individual acts as the central point of contact between the leasing team, property management, asset management, the legal department, and tenants, while ensuring consistency in the progress and closing of leasing files. You will be a key asset to the leasing department by providing and overseeing essential support and by managing multiple tasks in a dynamic, process‑driven environment.

Requirements

  • Proactive individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Team-oriented mindset with a desire to contribute to a positive and pleasant work environment
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in lease administration
  • Bilingual, both written and spoken

Responsibilities

  • Analyze the needs of prospective and existing tenants in collaboration with the VP of Leasing and Asset Management
  • Respond to broker inquiries and circulate financial information, plans, and marketing materials
  • Coordinate business negotiations with tenants and their representatives
  • Coordinate the drafting of offers, leases, and amendments with the Legal Department
  • Coordinate the review of tenants’ financial status
  • Follow up on leasing files, including approvals, signatures, guarantees, security deposits, and insurance
  • Ensure accuracy, compliance, and final execution of lease agreements
  • Follow up on the payment of commissions to external and internal brokers
  • Actively participate in weekly leasing meetings (set the agenda, manage priorities, and ensure communication with internal stakeholders)
  • Update and track upcoming transactions and renewals, including data entry and follow‑ups in Deal Manager
  • Oversee follow‑ups for ongoing transactions
  • Prepare quarterly reports (corporate and client)
  • Assist and/or replace the Vice President of Leasing during prospective tenant space tours
  • Contribute to national corporate initiatives aimed at improving systems (Deal Manager, new budgeting process, tracking of existing tenant rights)
  • Collaborate on the national harmonization of processes specific to retail assets
