Leasing Managers at AVE are seasoned sales professionals that play a hands-on role in driving results for their community's leasing program. They take full ownership for all activities related to our luxury apartment rentals, including leasing, move-ins, and renewals. Successful Leasing Managers enjoy building relationships with prospects and residents to learn about their needs and exceed their expectations. They have extremely strong follow-up skills and are passionate about selling the AVE lifestyle and closing leases! Successful Leasing Managers meet and exceed leasing goals and provide a high level of service to our prospects and residents. They own their geographic territory, nothing happens in their towns without them knowing first. They generate new business opportunities through outreach efforts and cultivating relationships with Realtors, insurance agents, local chambers, area corporations, neighborhood businesses, and having a strong presence at both community and professional events.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of proven sales/leasing experience
  • Proven success in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Proven execution of successful sales strategies to close new leases
  • Tenacious and skilled at overcoming objections
  • Strong communication and relationship building and follow-up skills
  • Willingness to master and use a CRM, systems, and other sales tools
  • Schedule flexibility in order to prioritize and pivot to business and prospect needs
  • Must have reliable source of transportation
  • Must be available to work the required full-time schedule of Sunday 10:00am to 5:00pm and Monday through Thursday 9:00am to 6:00pm.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospitality, travel, relocation, corporate housing, or multifamily industry experience strongly preferred
  • Networking and outreach experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in Yardi CRM and/or Zendesk Sell is a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Drive results for their community's leasing program.
  • Take full ownership for all activities related to luxury apartment rentals, including leasing, move-ins, and renewals.
  • Build relationships with prospects and residents to learn about their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Meet and exceed leasing goals.
  • Provide a high level of service to prospects and residents.
  • Own their geographic territory.
  • Generate new business opportunities through outreach efforts and cultivating relationships with Realtors, insurance agents, local chambers, area corporations, neighborhood businesses.
  • Maintain a strong presence at community and professional events.
  • Collaborate with marketing leadership to create leads for their community.
  • Plan Resident Events.
  • Serve as Community Manager of the community's social media channels.
  • Build relationships through outreach with Realtors and insurance agents.
  • Attend community and professionals events to network to create business opportunities.
  • Organize and balance activities appropriately (research, touring, operations, outreach, and relationship management) to create results.
  • Provide exceptional resident service to all existing, future, and past residents.
  • Exhibit the highest level of professional and presentation standards.
  • Utilize social selling as part of the sales culture.
  • Be flexible to know when and where to be to create business opportunities.
