Our Real Estate Management Internship is a 10-week paid internship designed for students to rotate through all aspects of Property Management at an assigned community, including Leasing, Assistant Manager, Manager, Maintenance, Operations, and Corporate functions. Interns receive mentorship from a senior leader at Red Tail Residential LLC and may have the opportunity to work on real-world special projects with the leadership team. The program aims to allow participants to work alongside professionals to create thriving living experiences for renters nationwide. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in a 4-year accredited program, Real Estate, Hospitality or Property Management preferred.
  • Sophomore year completed by start of Internship, preferred.
  • Previous administrative, customer service, or office experience preferred but not required
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred
  • Always be professional

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the leasing and management team.
  • Assist with data entry, file management, and maintaining accurate resident and leasing records.
  • Support the preparation of leasing documents and move-in/move-out paperwork.
  • Help manage unit availability updates and internal tracking systems.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating move-in calendars.
  • Respond to general inquiries via phone and email, directing requests as appropriate.
  • Support resident communication efforts and service request tracking.
  • Participate in property tours and leasing activities as needed for exposure and learning.
  • Assist with market research and competitor analysis projects.
  • Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives.
  • Perform additional administrative or operational duties as assigned.
