About The Position

AMLI Residential is hiring a Leasing Consultant for AMLI Aero, a new 442-unit luxury apartment community and the company’s first apartment community in San Diego. As part of the initial leasing team, the Leasing Consultant will help introduce AMLI to the San Diego market, welcome the community’s first residents, and establish the property as a premier place to live. The role focuses on converting prospective renters into residents while providing an exceptional customer experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Availability to work Saturdays; the community is closed Sundays.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Confident, outgoing, and professional approach to working with customers.
• Sales-driven mindset and desire to achieve goals.
• Strong follow-up, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Apartment leasing or property management experience.
• Experience in retail sales, hospitality, hotels, restaurants, or other customer-facing industries.

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging apartment tours highlighting apartment homes, amenities, and community features.
• Connect with prospective residents, understand their needs, and help them find a suitable home.
• Respond to phone, email, text, and online inquiries and follow up consistently to convert leads into signed leases.
• Work toward individual and team leasing goals and help build occupancy at the community.
• Help introduce AMLI Aero to the San Diego market and generate excitement about the community.
• Prepare lease agreements, process applications, and maintain accurate prospect and resident records.
• Coordinate move-ins and help provide a welcoming experience for new residents.
• Participate in resident events, marketing initiatives, and outreach activities.
• Collaborate with onsite colleagues to achieve leasing goals and deliver customer service.
