About The Position

AMLI Residential is hiring a Leasing Consultant at AMLI Aero, a brand-new, 442-unit luxury apartment community and their first apartment community in San Diego. As a member of the initial leasing team, the Leasing Consultant will play an important role in introducing AMLI to the San Diego market, welcoming the first residents, and helping establish the community as a premier place to live. This role is ideal for someone enthusiastic, goal-oriented, and who loves connecting with people, whether they have apartment leasing experience or a background in retail sales, hospitality, or customer service.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Saturday availability required (closed Sundays)
Strong customer service and communication skills
Confident, outgoing, and professional approach to working with customers
Sales-driven mindset with a desire to achieve goals
Strong follow-up, organizational, and multitasking skills
Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Apartment leasing or property management experience
Experience in retail sales, hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or other customer-facing industries
Great with people, enjoy sales, and motivated by results

Responsibilities

Turn prospective renters into residents while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Conduct engaging apartment tours, highlighting brand-new apartment homes, luxury amenities, and community features.
Connect with prospective residents, understand their needs, and help them find their ideal home.
Respond to phone, email, text, and online inquiries, following up consistently to convert leads into signed leases.
Work toward individual and team leasing goals while helping build occupancy at the new 442-unit community.
Help introduce AMLI Aero to the San Diego market and build excitement about the community.
Prepare lease agreements, process applications, and maintain accurate prospect and resident records.
Coordinate move-ins and help ensure a welcoming experience for the first residents.
Participate in resident events, marketing initiatives, and outreach activities.
Collaborate with onsite colleagues to achieve leasing goals and deliver outstanding customer service.
