About The Position

CAPREIT is seeking a Leasing Consultant for its multisite communities: Charter House and Bucknell Apartments in Silver Spring, Maryland. This role involves providing excellent customer service to prospective residents, marketing the community, processing applications, and assisting the Community Manager with administrative tasks. Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are strongly preferred to support a diverse resident population. Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience in apartment leasing
Affordable Housing experience (LIHTC preferred)
Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate a company vehicle and/or golf cart
Experience with property management software (RealPage, OneSite, and/or Yardi), or the ability to quickly learn new systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, to effectively communicate with and support a diverse resident population
Monday - Friday schedule

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service to prospective residents by planning and participating in marketing activities to attract prospective residents; greeting applicants, showcasing the community, and collecting applications; communicating the features and benefits of the community with potential residents.
Assist the Community Manager by processing applications in a timely manner, taking resident phone calls, following up with prospective residents, and completing additional, on-going administrative functions of the community.
