NV Leasing Consultant (Spanish Ridge)
About The Position
Olen Living, a large family-owned real estate enterprise with a 50-year history and a portfolio of over 17,000 apartments nationwide, is seeking a skilled and motivated, full-time Leasing Consultant for its multi-family apartment community, Spanish Ridge, in Las Vegas, NV. The Leasing Consultant will work under the direction of the Property Manager and is responsible for all duties associated with leasing vacant units to ensure a high occupancy rate, as well as assisting with customer service and resident retention. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and a passion for working with people in an energetic environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of two years of residential leasing experience required.
- Must be well versed with all Fair Housing laws.
- Working knowledge of Office 365 including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook and SharePoint.
- Good customer service skills, communication skills, and sales ability.
- Team player attitude, enthusiasm, and motivation.
- Able to work weekends.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with property management software is a plus and willingness and capability to learn new software.
Responsibilities
- Conducts tours of models, vacant apartments, property, and property amenities.
- Utilizes resident, prospect and revenue management software systems for leasing activity such as inquiries, appointments, prospect follow up, quotes, rental agreements, and renewals.
- Maintains closing ratio based upon the needs of the community.
- Processes rental applications in a timely manner for review and final approval of the Property Manager.
- Follows through and assumes accountability for overall move-in program.
- Assists in initiating and closing out service requests.
- Conducts market surveys of comparable properties.
- Assists with outreach marketing program.
- Helps plan, schedule, organize and participate in resident functions.
