About The Position

Northland is seeking a motivated Leasing Consultant to join their team at Bigelow Commons, a 471-unit apartment complex in Enfield, CT. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for representing Northland by providing an exceptional customer experience to residents and prospective residents. Key duties include apartment leasing, conducting tours for prospective residents, focusing on resident retention and satisfaction, and engaging in community-focused marketing. Daily tasks involve managing incoming and outgoing calls, balancing walk-ins with scheduled appointments, and supporting the on-site team with various tasks. The leasing team is expected to maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer service in all interactions with residents, vendors, and guests. This role may require weekend work as needed, which will be discussed during the interview process. Travel may also be necessary to support other properties or attend training sessions. The ability to operate a golf cart for property travel may be required.

Requirements

Previous sales or customer service experience
Ability to multitask and manage time effectively while adhering to deadlines
Strong communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with employees, residents, and vendors
Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit for extended periods of time, climb, bend, and squat
Must be able to occasionally push, pull, lift, and carry weights up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions
