About The Position

Preiss is a leader in the ownership and management of multifamily and student housing communities nationwide. The Leasing Consultant is responsible for completing the day-to-day leasing and marketing operations of the property while maintaining positive resident relations. The role is at The Collective at Auburn and is part-time. This job description is a guide to expected duties and is not all-inclusive, complete, or permanent. It may be modified at any time. Requirements

At least one year of customer service and/or sales experience.
Excellent customer service skills and the ability to resolve escalated customer concerns.
Understanding of Fair Housing.
High school diploma.

Nice To Haves

Property management leasing experience.
Some college.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.

Responsibilities

Answer calls and persuade potential residents to visit the property or its website.
Greet potential residents, parents, and visitors professionally.
Follow up daily with leads in the leasing database.
Place delinquency phone calls.
Complete guest cards and send thank-you notes.
Attend and participate in resident events, including event cleanup.
Build relationships with universities, local institutions, employers, businesses, and cultural centers to generate prospects.
Execute and promote resident events.
Conduct community marketing, including meeting with local businesses and distributing flyers.
Tour competing properties regularly to gather information on leasing strategies, specials, occupancy, prelease percentages, and property upkeep.
Greet existing and potential residents.
Address and resolve questions and concerns in a timely manner.
Log packages.
Generate mailings.
Collect checks and monies owed.
File leases.
