About The Position

This is a part-time, onsite apartment manager position for a 52-unit property. The role requires the individual to live on-site and is responsible for maintaining a clean, well-run community. The ideal candidate is bilingual (Spanish/English), organized, and reliable. The position includes a rent-free 1-bedroom apartment and a monthly stipend.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Spanish & English (required)
  • 2+ years of recent onsite apartment management experience (within the last 2 years)
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing laws
  • Strong communication & organization skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office (AppFolio is a plus)
  • Reliable, professional, and self-managed
  • Non-smoking and no pets!

Responsibilities

  • Daily property walks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance.
  • Coordinate and report maintenance needs promptly.
  • Communicate with residents, primarily in Spanish.
  • Show and lease vacant units.
  • Process applications and rental agreements.
  • Keep common areas clean and presentable.
  • Enforce community rules and policies.
  • Work closely with the property management team.
  • Maintain notes and updates in AppFolio (preferred).
