About The Position

RHM Real Estate Group is seeking a Leasing Agent to support leasing, marketing, and relationship-building at its multifamily apartment community in Columbus, Ohio. The role provides leasing services and offers the opportunity to develop skills in prospect marketing, resident services, and apartment leasing operations. The position is full-time and based at an on-site management office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed.

Requirements

At least 2 years of prior experience in a sales or customer-facing role.
High school diploma or GED.
Willingness to achieve Fair Housing certification before interacting with prospects or residents.
Competence using Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
U.S. work authorization is required for employment.
Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of prior experience in a property leasing position.
Competence using Yardi software.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify prospects by covering their criteria, asking questions, and using digital guest cards.
Follow up with prospects who did not lease and refer them to sister properties where appropriate.
Immediately record all telephone and in-person visits in Yardi.
Inspect model and market-ready suites to ensure they are neat, clean, and ready for resident move-ins.
Manage resident files, conduct daily inspections, distribute correspondence to residents, and perform other administrative functions.
Conduct neighborhood marketing and outreach, advise residents of referral concessions, and distribute newsletters, pamphlets, and flyers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
