Leasing Agent I/COS (Eastern Park Apartments - 1357)
About The Position
This position is for a full-time Leasing Agent I/COS to work at Eastern Park Apartments, a 201-unit affordable senior housing community in San Francisco, CA. This is a HUD SEC 8 / TCAC property. Qualified candidates will have 1+ year of related apartment leasing experience and knowledge of affordable housing. Tax credit and/or project-based Section 8 preferred. COS certification preferred. Salary range: $21.00 to $32.00 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $21.00 to $26.50 per hour, DOE. Please note an offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate and the current salary level of individuals working at EAH in a similar role. The Leasing Agent I/COS is directly responsible for marketing and leasing the property. The Leasing Agent is also responsible for providing resident relations services.
Requirements
- 1+ Year of Related Apartment Leasing Experience/COS experience
- MS Office knowledge and Intermediate Skills
- Knowledge of Affordable Housing
Nice To Haves
- Tax credit and/or project-based Section 8 preferred.
- COS certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assists in Developing and implementing marketing plan and creation of advertisements
- Provides Property Tours, Shows Model Unit
- Logs all Traffic, completes Follow-up, Processes Rental Application and Prepares Lease
- Collects Deposit, Conducts Unit Inspection
- Conducts Market Survey of Competition
- Participates in Property Inspections, Move in/Move out, Aids Residents with move out process
- Participates in re-certification process
