Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of multifamily leasing experience required.
  • Proven sales success with measurable closing results.
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Exceptional follow-up habits and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficient in Yardi CRM systems, Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced lease-up environment.
  • Positive, energetic, team-first attitude.
  • Professional appearance and polished presentation.
  • Self-motivated and highly competitive.
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and occasional evenings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Sales Process: Convert leads into leases using a consultative, relationship-driven sales approach.
  • Deliver exceptional apartment tours that showcase not only our homes—but the lifestyle we offer.
  • Build urgency while helping prospects confidently choose their next home.
  • Consistently exceed leasing, occupancy, traffic conversion and closing goals.
  • Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline from initial inquiry through signed lease.
  • Master objection handling and confidently close leases.
  • Create Moments That Matter: Deliver a luxury customer experience during every interaction.
  • Build genuine relationships with prospects, residents and guests.
  • Celebrate move-ins and create memorable first impressions.
  • Represent Metropolitan Holdings with professionalism, enthusiasm and hospitality.
  • Treat every prospect like they are our future resident—because they are.
  • Own the Follow-Up: Respond rapidly to all internet leads, phone calls, walk-ins and referrals.
  • Execute consistent and timely follow-up using CRM best practices.
  • Never allow a lead to "go cold."
  • Utilize technology, texting, email campaigns and phone outreach to maximize conversion.
  • Maintain detailed prospect records and ensure data integrity.
  • Become the Market Expert: Know your competitors better than they know themselves.
  • Stay informed on pricing, concessions, occupancy trends and new developments.
  • Provide market intelligence and recommendations to maximize leasing velocity.
  • Assist in revenue management strategies and pricing recommendations.
  • Drive Marketing & Outreach: Execute outreach marketing plans.
  • Build relationships with local employers and community partners.
  • Participate in resident events, grand openings, networking opportunities and promotional activities.
  • Assist with social media content, resident engagement and brand awareness initiatives.
  • Deliver Operational Excellence: Complete leases, renewals and resident documentation accurately.
  • Ensure model apartments, amenity spaces and tour paths remain presentation-ready.
  • Partner closely with maintenance to ensure apartments are move-in ready.
  • Support resident retention through exceptional customer service.
  • Maintain compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
