Position Summary : The Lease Funding Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient and accurate funding of lease packages while collaborating with internal stakeholders to optimize the funding workflow. This position is responsible for managing key operational areas, including production, quality assurance, employee training initiatives, and adherence to service level agreements. The Manager will also evaluate and make decisions regarding funding scenarios that fall beyond established policies. Additionally, this role serves as a point of escalation for resolving conflicts involving internal customers, dealers, and Dealer Relationship Managers (DRMs).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in the finance industry.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Team Lead, Assistant Manager, or Sr. Loan/Lease Processor in the finance industry.
  • High school diploma and/or GED.
  • In-depth knowledge of lease agreements, lease terminology, and leasing processes.
  • Strong analytical reasoning abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen.
  • Excellent planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in using lease software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple files effectively and efficiently.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the achievement of all funding objectives, including volume, turn time, portfolio performance, and legal and procedural compliance.
  • Manages lease processing production, work quality, and service levels.
  • Communicates professionally, accurately, and effectively with both internal and external customers.
  • Responsible for maintaining adherence to all Federal and State Regulatory issues regarding Lease Funding.
  • Provide leadership, support, and motivation to Lease Processing team(s).
  • Reviews escalated deals for exceptions and makes decisions per company policies and procedures.
  • Monitors necessary reports to ensure production and quality goals are achieved.
  • Develop, coordinate, and support training activities and staff development by SFS policies.
  • Maintain procedural manuals.
  • Evaluate performance versus established metrics and identify operational deficiencies, and implement plans to improve operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain confidentiality due to regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • In addition to performing the essential duties and responsibilities outlined, this position assists in managing departmental operations by supervising and guiding employees assigned to the department.
  • Responsibilities include overseeing daily activities, managing work schedules, and providing direction and support to Lease Processors per the Company's policies and procedures.
  • This role holds the authority to lead and direct the daily work of assigned employees, assess their performance, and report findings to management.
  • The position also involves decision-making authority in areas such as hiring, termination, promotions, demotions, formal disciplinary actions, reassignment, or modifications to employee benefits.
  • All decisions must be made in collaboration with senior management and the Human Resources Department to ensure compliance with organizational standards and practices.
