About The Position

The purpose of this position is to create lease contracts in Publix’s computer system, along with ensuring tenant compliance with the legal documents, as well as support the coordination of special events for all Publix retail stores and the operations of the lease administration and compliance team, and real estate assets department, as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of formal training/certification and professional work experience that demonstrates the prerequisite competence to perform the duties of this position.

Responsibilities

• Abstracting and creating contracts (also known as “lease records”), including tenant contracts, adjacent property contracts and internal rent contracts, in Compass for acquired shopping centers and Publix’s existing company-controlled portfolio.
• Tracking, reviewing, and managing lease compliance requests (e.g. providing proof of insurance, reporting sales, providing proof of pest control services and HVAC maintenance) for approximately 4,000 Publix tenants to ensure compliance obligations are being met per specific lease agreements for each tenant.
• Coordinating the approval of special events (e.g., Blood Mobile, Girl Scout cookies) for all retail Publix stores.
• Responsible for miscellaneous support for the lease administration & compliance team.
