About The Position

Linchpin Solutions is seeking a dynamic, experienced Learning System Support/Helpdesk Specialist to manage day-to-day operations for the Learning Support System section. This role provides high-level technical expertise for Moodle and the broader eLearning Environment, focusing on account management and troubleshooting to support students, staff, and instructors across the enterprise. The position requires a Tier 1 Public Trust clearance and is a full-time, onsite role, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Moodle Admin Basics
  • HDI Support Center Analyst certification
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
  • Critical Thinking Skills
  • OPSEC knowledge
  • CUI Training completion

Nice To Haves

  • 2-3 years of administrative experience

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing day-to-day help desk section activities
  • Establishing user accounts for learning support systems and enterprise e-learning programs
  • Submitting, tracking, and resolving user issues using trouble-ticking software
  • Escalating problems when necessary
  • Answering help desk phone calls
  • Assisting users with enrollment
  • Placing students into appropriate seminar course sites
  • Processing waivers or equivalency requests
  • Providing tier I and tier II troubleshooting for online coursework issues
  • Responding to technical or policy inquiries regarding distance learning and professional military education
  • Performing Tier I testing for newly developed content
  • Generating temporary password resets
  • Supporting international student account creation
  • Assisting in the development of help desk tutorials and training tools
