About The Position

This position is responsible for administering employee training through the Learning Management System (LMS), including testing and posting new content, troubleshooting administrative and user technical issues, ensuring accurate audience assignments, documenting processes, and developing reports and queries for a variety of internal needs. The role involves day-to-day management of the LMS, including implementation, content management, and support of LMS policies and practices. It also requires performing routine and ad-hoc data analysis, preparing accurate reporting, researching and resolving LMS functionality issues, and making recommendations for improvement. The specialist will articulate technical requirements to business stakeholders, perform check-ins with management on training activity, facilitate LMS training, and collect/review training records for completion and accuracy. Enrolling learners in courses and recording learning events with the highest levels of accuracy are also key responsibilities. The role demands excellent detail orientation, critical thinking, analytical skills, the ability to meet deadlines, adapt to a changing environment, and maintain positive relations with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in learning management system administration (LMS)
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Adobe software
  • Proficient using webinar technology such as Teams.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Experience in document management and storage in a multi-user environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent listening, problem resolution and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and follow verbal/written instruction material to perform complex tasks.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment with a focus on providing exceptional internal and external customer service.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using e-Learning development tools a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Doceobo, a plus.
  • Experience using SCORM, SQL queries, HTML, CSS, and API a plus.
  • Understanding of instructional design principles and the ADDIE process.

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of LMS, including implementation, content management and support of LMS policies and practices.
  • Perform both routine and ad-hoc data analysis, including arranging data into meaningful conclusions using charts, graphs, pivot tables.
  • Prepare accurate and consistent reporting for business owners.

  • Perform scheduled check-ins with management on training activity.
