About The Position

The Learning Experience Designer is responsible for the management of immersive, learner-centered programs. This role involves not only designing and facilitating engaging learning solutions but also overseeing project timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring that all deliverables are met within deadlines. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and stakeholders to ensure learning content is dynamic, accessible, and effective for diverse learners while maintaining clear project goals and milestones.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with course authoring software such as Rise 360, Canva, Tango, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Proficiency in conducting needs assessments to determine learning objectives
  • Ability to assess learner personas and apply strategic thinking when scaling a learning experience across the organization
  • Leading creative design processes with developers and stakeholders
  • Measuring and evaluating the impact on the total learning experience
  • Learn, adapt to, and enhance the Cardinal Culture
  • Consistent, exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of Google Suite
  • Ability to self-manage workloads and projects
  • Ability to travel nationally up to 15% of the time
  • Ability to embody the Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values every day

Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop, and Implement Learning Solutions: Create and curate learning materials, including interactive e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), virtual ILT, job aids, videos, and other multimedia content to support various learning paths.
  • Drive Performance through Skill Development: Partner with project managers and key stakeholders to seamlessly integrate and implement company initiatives and new technologies.
  • Facilitate Learning Sessions: Lead live training sessions, workshops, and discussions, both virtually and in person, fostering an environment of inclusivity and active learning.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Partner with SMEs to extract essential information and ensure learning materials are accurate, relevant, and aligned with best practices.
  • Support and Consult on Technology Use: Contribute to the effective use of the L&D tech stack—including Cardinal’s knowledge base system, Spekit—by identifying potential enhancements and collaborating with Operations Training & Development to support content design and optimization across the organization.
  • Assess Learning Needs and Evaluate Impact: Conduct needs assessments and evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through feedback, data analysis, and performance metrics to continually enhance learning programs.
  • Stay Current with Industry Trends: Research and apply the latest learning methodologies, tools, and technologies to keep our programs innovative, relevant, and user-focused.
  • Optimize the Learner Experience: Design for accessibility and inclusivity, ensuring that all learning materials are accessible to a diverse audience.
