About The Position
Independent Learning Experience Designer (LXD) & eLearning Development Consultant We are seeking independent contractors to provide learning experience design and eLearning development services on a project or per hour basis, supporting customer education and product adoption initiatives. Scope of Services Design and develop digital learning assets, including eLearning courses, microlearning, blended programs, and instructor-led materials Conduct learning needs analysis and recommend instructional strategies, formats, and sequencing Create learning design documentation (objectives, outlines, storyboards, scripts, and assessments) Develop interactive eLearning modules using tools such as Articulate Storyline and Rise Produce and integrate multimedia elements (audio, video, animation, graphics) as required Publish and test content for LMS delivery (e.g., SCORM/xAPI), ensuring functionality and tracking accuracy Perform quality assurance (QA) to validate usability, accessibility considerations, and design alignment Review feedback and revise deliverables based on agreed project requirements Maintain organized project files required to support delivery, revisions, and handoff per contractual requirements Collaborate with client stakeholders as needed to gather inputs and validate learning requirements Communicate risks, assumptions, or scope considerations that may impact project delivery
Requirements
- Demonstrated professional experience delivering learning design and eLearning development services
- Working knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
- Proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Rise
- Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet agreed milestones independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills when working with client stakeholders
- Experience developing learning for remote or distributed audiences
Nice To Haves
- Adobe After Effects experience
- Experience with learning management systems
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
