We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic Learning & Engagement Specialist to join our growing Boston team! About the Role: The Learning & Engagement Specialist will be responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs while driving employee engagement initiatives across the organization. This role combines instructional design expertise and facilitation skills with employee engagement strategy to create impactful learning experiences that enhance performance, retention, and organizational culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about adult learning, employee development, and creating positive workplace experiences.

Requirements

  • High level of interpersonal skills throughout the Company team – leaders to frontline employees.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish with strong written and verbal communications in both languages.
  • Experience developing and delivering training content in multiple languages to engage diverse audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills, time management, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and confidently on assigned tasks, while maintaining strong task management communication.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Education, Organization Development preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in training, learning and development and/or employee engagement.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems, e-learning authoring tools, and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with survey tools, data analysis, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions on topics including new employee orientation, leadership development, compliance, and technical skills.
  • Assess organizational training needs through strong partnership with leadership, surveys, interviews, and performance data analysis, compiling and updating required training across all departments.
  • Design and develop engaging training programs, workshops, and learning materials for various audiences.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop technical and role-specific training.
  • Create multimedia learning content including e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and interactive materials
  • In partnership with leadership, develop and implement comprehensive employee engagement strategies and initiatives.
  • Plan and execute engagement events, team-building activities, and recognition programs.
  • Conduct engagement surveys and analyze results to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with HR team and leadership to address engagement challenges and drive cultural initiatives.
  • Support internal communication efforts to keep employees informed and connected.
  • Maintain training calendar and coordinate scheduling with departments and participants.
  • Manage learning management system (LMS) including content uploads, user enrollment, and reporting.
  • Track training completion rates, engagement metrics, and program ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory training requirements and maintain documentation
  • Stay current with learning and development trends, engagement best practices, and adult learning principles.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing programs based on feedback and results.
  • Research and recommend new training technologies, tools, and methodologies.
  • Develop metrics and reporting dashboards to track program success and organizational impact.
