About The Position

Iovino Enterprises is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to join their team. This role will work with the Director of HR Operations to lead the execution of the company's Learning & Development strategy and foster a learning culture. The L&D Specialist will partner with leaders and subject matter experts to analyze needs, design and deliver learning programs, and manage learning initiatives. This position also offers the opportunity to support other HR functions, providing a chance for growth and learning across different areas of Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, ability to multi-task and juggle changing priorities.
  • Well organized and comfortable with prioritizing and managing multiple priorities and tasks.
  • Customer driven - must be responsive to employee concerns and questions.
  • Outstanding communication skills and presentation/facilitation skills.
  • Ability and willingness to multi-task and manage multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail-oriented while focusing on the big picture.
  • Strong identification with the Company’s mission and values and commitment to the people served and services provided.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in I/O Psychology a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver L&D solutions, partnering with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) and external consultants/partners.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote learning and development programs and resources.
  • Analyze and evaluate L&D programs and resources using post-training feedback and other metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Review and evolve existing development programs to align with company growth.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify training needs, establish objectives, and determine appropriate L&D solutions.
  • Work with technical experts to develop content and coordinate program logistics.
  • Coordinate and perform administrative functions for scheduling, executing, delivering, and documenting L&D programs.
  • Prepare logistical requirements for classroom sessions, including materials, room scheduling, setup, and technology testing.
  • Oversee the learning management system (LMS), including administration, tracking, and reporting on learning effectiveness.
  • Maximize LMS capabilities and refresh development content to drive usage and value.
  • Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, year-end performance discussions, and Individual Development Plans (IDPs).
  • Assess the talent pool with executives and managers to identify trends.
  • Support employees in obtaining certifications and licenses, including managing CEUs, creating guides, and processing reimbursements.
  • Manage and facilitate new hire orientation, ensuring materials are accurate and relevant.
  • Perform other HR duties as assigned.
