About The Position

This position provides consulting and training development support to the Supply Chain POU/Materials Management team. It consults with Supply Chain leadership to determine the most appropriate and effective solutions to address team, organization, role-specific performance improvement and/or engagement under occasional guidance. Impacts both clinical end-users and central Supply Chain Operations staff by developing solutions for Workday, Tecsys, and other Vanderbilt Health systems and/or processes both virtually and on campus(es). Uses probing questions to determine root cause of issue or need for team building, organizational development, engagement, or learning. Understands how to assess, design, develop, implement and evaluate workplace learning or engagement independently. Experience with Supply Chain, Workday, and/or Tecsys is preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in supply chain, finance, with the ability to apply content to real-world operational contexts
  • Strong ability to simplify complex concepts and translate them into clear, engaging learning content for diverse audiences
  • High level of comfort with technology and software, with the ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools
  • Demonstrated instructional and visual design experience, including creating engaging, learner-centered materials
  • Confidence in public speaking, with experience facilitating and presenting to large audiences
  • Experience with Workday Learning or other LMS platforms
  • Experience with Tecsys
  • Proficiency with Articulate Storyline and Articulate Rise
  • Experience using multimedia and design tools such as Camtasia, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Background in creating learning assets such as job aids, flyers, guides, videos, and other supporting materials
  • Creative and artistic experience with a strong creative-thinking mindset and attention to visual storytelling
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Workday, and/or Tecsys

Responsibilities

  • Consults with customers to determine appropriate solutions for business need.
  • Conducts needs analysis to determine performance/engagement objectives.
  • Uses probing questions to determine root cause of issue or need for organizational development, learning or engagement experience.
  • Gathers content material from subject matter experts and performs research, as needed.
  • Uses information obtained in analysis to design, develop, and implement program or solution that meets the need of customer.
  • Designs, creates and delivers effective in-class and virtual instructor-led classes, eLearning, job aides and performance-support materials as appropriate to meet the learning need.
  • Utilizes rapid instructional design tools and processes, adult learning theory and experience to develop and deliver effective training solutions.
  • Provides technologically innovative, engaging, and instructionally sound learning deliverables.
  • Reviews, evaluates and reports program or solution effectiveness.
